In the age of information technology, having adequate storage space be it physical or cloud has become imperative. Plenty of files, emails, pictures and videos certainly need more storage as the volume is ever-increasing. Now, technology giant Google has announced that it has increased the storage limit per individual account. The storage has been increased to 1TB for Google Workspace Individual account.
Google has also made it simple for users to edit and collaborate on Microsoft Office files as users will no longer need to convert them. The tech giant has also enhanced its built-in protection against spam, malware and ransomware.
The tech giant also introduced a feature to Google Workspace, where users will be able to add mail merge tags to send multiple emails at once. And, these will let recipients get a uniquely crafted email from the sender. The default multi-send email option also comes with an unsubscribe link to enable recipients to opt-out of future emails.
The Google Workspace Individual account has been expanded to more countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Argentina and Portugal.
Meanwhile, Google has stated that it will soon roll out Google Meet on multiple platforms including zoom. Both Zoom Rooms and Google Meet devices will be able to join Google Meet meetings directly from the calendar of a Zoom Room or Google Meet device by entering a meeting code.
